The desktop app’s embedded preview pane never fires rAF (0/s) even with document.visibilityState ‘visible’, so the twin rendered one frame and stopped. Added a timer fallback that paces at the 30 fps cap only when rAF has been silent for 250 ms. Same protection applies to kiosk shells. Verified: 29 fps in the pane.
