WHAT: Alerts have per-item severity and quiet hours, but there is no single ‘I am away’ mode. WHY: when travelling, an operator wants only real emergencies (failsafe, sensor-fault, dark-period) and none of the routine WARN/HUB churn – and a clear banner that the grow is in away mode. HOW: an Away toggle that (a) suppresses toast/tone for below-critical alerts, (b) optionally raises the debounce so transients do not page, (c) shows an ‘AWAY since ‘ state on Overview, and (d) still records everything to the Alerts desk/Logs. Complements quiet-hours and the proposed Alerts filtering. Found live 8.2.0.
