OPERATOR-RAISED 2026-09-10: “there is no setting tab to get to settings”. NOT A BUG — verified the link exists and works: link “Settings” href=”#/settings/preferences” renders, and the icon resolves (iconSvg falls back from ICON_SVG_SET to ICON_SVG, which does carry a settings gear). I initially mis-diagnosed it as a missing icon; it is not. THE REAL PROBLEM IS DISCOVERABILITY. Every other destination in the app is a labelled tab in the desk nav — Overview, Climate, Root, Light, Plants, CannaLib, Logs, Alerts, Kit. Settings alone is a 16px unlabelled gear at the extreme right of the top bar, positioned AFTER the status chips (HUB ONLINE / UPDATED Ns AGO / N HONESTY GAPS), which are visually louder and draw the eye. On a 1280px window it sits in the last ~30px of the header. The operator — who wrote the settings plan — could not find it. OPTIONS: give it a text label (‘Settings’) like every other desk; or move it into the desk nav as a real tab; or at minimum separate it from the status cluster so it does not read as another chip. Mobile should be checked too — the bottom bar is Overview/Climate/Plants/Alerts/More, so Settings is one level down there as well. Worth doing: the whole S1–S6 settings programme is only reachable through this one glyph.
