No brand's cloud sits between DSC and your gear. Every lane below runs on your own network, so the room keeps working when the internet, or the maker's app, does not. A lane is one way a device talks to DSC. The three recognised counts add up to 15 more than the 2,581 recognised products, because 15 products pair over two lanes.

Not on the list? There is still a good chance it will work. Anything that pairs over Zigbee, Tuya or Bluetooth, or plugs into a smart plug, can still run as a fan, light, pump or plug. If it does not, put in a device request: we fold requests into the next DSC-KitLib release, and the library is updated regularly (DSC-KitLib 0.11.0, built 2026-09-30). The library grows from what testers actually own, and a device you name is one we go and verify.
