What the hub tells you, and how. Every alert the hub can raise, its severity, quiet hours, and this browser's toast and tone.
Delivery
| Row | Scope | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Toast on a new alert | Browser | A popup when an alert rises on this browser. The baseline is taken on the first populated fleet read, so opening the page does not toast every existing alert. |
| Sound | Browser | A short tone from this browser: OFF, CRITICAL (default) or ALL, with a Preview button. Browsers only play sound after you have clicked the page once. |
| Quiet hours (start / end) | Brain | Silences the alert sound between these local times, critical alerts included; toasts still show. The emergency failsafe always sounds. Off by default. |
| Away mode | Brain | Deliver critical alerts only while away; everything is still recorded. |
| Acknowledge presets | Brain | The durations offered on a card (defaults 1 h, 4 h, 12 h, until hub boot; pick from 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h, 1 day and until hub boot, at least one and at most 8). An acknowledged alert always returns at the next hub boot. One-click acknowledge duration is the default when you just click Ack (until hub boot). |
| Push to phone | INVENTED | Not built: possible with a notification relay on the brain. Shown only when Settings › System › Developer › Show INVENTED rows is on. |
Catalogue
Every alert the brain knows, with an enable switch and a severity select (critical, warn, info). The emergency failsafe cannot be disabled (the brain refuses it and the row reads always on); it sounds through quiet hours and away mode. The defaults are in Reference › Alert catalogue. Disabling an alert hides it on the desks and mutes it; the brain keeps evaluating and logging it.
Where alerts come from
Most alerts are hub or brain binary sensors judged against the kit's own bands and horizons (Settings › Sensors). Automation rules can raise banner alerts with their own tone.
A smoke, gas or CO alarm bound to a hazard role raises Smoke detected, Gas detected or Carbon monoxide (critical), and Safety alarm silent (warn) when one has not reported for over a day. The runoff and dry-room alerts only fire against thresholds you set under Settings › Root › Runoff alerts and Settings › Climate › Dry and cure; Grow alert sensitivity (Off, Relaxed, Moderate, Strict) sets them together and is Off by default.
