Ollama, CannaLib and the catalogs. Local-first; each one has a test button and an honest status.

Ollama

Ollama URL and Ollama model for the optional local LLM used by the soft-calibration assistant and catalog research prose. Test Ollama checks reachability. LLM prose is never catalog source of truth. Needs the LAN uplink; HELD when there is none.

CannaLib

Row What it does
CannaLib API URL The strain catalog server. Default points at the local network sidecar. Plants only: lights, equipment, nutrients and media come from the Libraries.
CannaLib API key Stored on the brain, shown as set.
Catalog-scaled stage model Scale Early / Flowering / Late to the strain's catalog flowering time instead of the fixed 42-day table (default on).
4×8 canopy distance (cm) · 2×4 canopy distance (cm) Fixture-to-canopy distance for the maker-map DLI estimate. Empty uses the maker's recommended hang height for the current stage, shown as an estimate.
Local catalog fallback Use the on-Pi corpus when the API is unreachable (default on).
Test CannaLib Reachability and version.

Libraries

The product data the hub reads locally, on the Pi, with no internet needed day to day. Plants stay in CannaLib.

Library Holds
DSC-KitLib Lights (maker PPFD maps, spectra, hang heights, control paths), fans, filters, ducting, tents, climate appliances, pumps, plugs, sensors, controllers, water testers
DSC-NuteLib Nutrients and additives (analysis, maker doses), maker feed charts (normalised to ml/L), growing media

Each row shows the installed version, not installed or damaged file. Only records a reviewer checked against the maker's own evidence are shipped; every record keeps its source link.

  • Check for updates reads the update manifest now (the brain also checks once a day).
  • Install vX downloads the release, checks its size and checksum, opens it, and swaps it in. Nothing restarts; bound fixtures and products re-read their records.
  • Back to vX swaps the previous version back; press it again to undo.
  • vX needs a newer brain means the release needs a brain update first; it is not offered for install.
  • Install updates automatically (default off) installs new releases when the daily check finds one.
  • Update manifest (advanced) is where releases are listed. Empty uses the public manifest on plausible-deniability.net.

A new SD image carries the latest libraries when it was built. A kit with no internet can have a release copied on by hand; until a library is installed the brain reads the older per-domain catalog files if they are present, and name search falls back to CannaLib names.

Catalog

Catalog status and reload: the thin local YAML catalogs and the PPFD map manifest. Refresh status re-reads it; Reload local catalogs re-reads the on-Pi indexes, and Compose and Research pick up changes after reload. The card also carries Demo mode (read-only: whether this brain is a simulation) and PPFD maps (on-Pi assets, never vendor hotlinks).

CannaLib in the grow

  • Status chips for the online API, the on-Pi corpus, DSC-KitLib, DSC-NuteLib, the last refresh and which stage model is in use, and a per-plant and per-fixture table naming the tier that served each record, with Refresh from catalog.
  • The DSC-NuteLib feed chart and growing medium per tent are brain settings with no row on this page yet; when set, the Root desk's Mix panel shows this week's chart row and the medium's pH band and water holding.
