DONE in PR #187. Settings -> Network ‘Connectivity’ card: internet_reachable() (TCP + DNS check vs internet_check_host, cached ~30s, offline-safe) surfaced as an ONLINE/OFFLINE chip + Check-now; eth_config/save_eth_config for auto(DHCP)/static (CIDR validated, gateway on-subnet, DNS = IPs) rendering a dhcpcd drop-in WITHOUT restarting networking (lockout-safe) + manual apply instruction. 5 tests. Follow-up: an ‘apply now’ path that restarts dhcpcd with a rollback timer.
