Steering (Brain scope)

Row What it does
P1 dry-back ceiling · P2 dry-back ceiling · P3 dry-back floor The dry-back percentages that divide the phases: below the P1 ceiling a probe's pot is in P1 (saturating shots), up to the P2 ceiling in P2 (maintenance shots), past the P3 floor in P3 (overnight dry-back). In Auto irrigation mode the brain opens an act window when a plant crosses its phase threshold.
VWC target · day / VWC target · night Substrate moisture targets the Root desk's Want band is drawn from when the strain profile has none.
EC target · seedling & clones / veg / flower / late flower / stage unknown Feed EC per stage. Stage unknown is used for a plant with no stage yet; each probe's steering chip shows which row applies.
Manual irrigation shot On its own Irrigation card: how long one manual shot from the Root desk runs the pump plug (default 2 s, 1–30 s); the pump's own auto-off is set to the same whole seconds. Shots need a Zigbee plug bound to the pump role; without one the desk says so and nothing runs.

Heat mat (Hub scope)

  • Root-zone band (low / high): the soil temperature band the mat loop keeps.
  • Probe 1 may call for the mat / Probe 2 may call for the mat: which probes may vote for the mat. A faulted probe withholds its vote.
  • Mat min off-time and ladder wait (advanced).

References

  • Probe dry reference line: the moisture percent drawn as dry on the Root probe-moisture charts (default 30 %, 5–80 %). Brain scope.

Runoff alerts (Brain scope). Runoff minus input is charted from every Feed / Water / Flush entry that carries both halves; these rows decide when a plant's latest shift raises an alert. Empty means it is charted and never alerts.

Grow alert sensitivity Off Off, Relaxed, Moderate or Strict: sets the runoff EC, runoff pH and dry room RH thresholds together (Relaxed 1.0 mS/cm, pH 1.0, 70 %; Moderate 0.8 mS/cm, pH 0.5, 65 %; Strict 0.5 mS/cm, pH 0.3, 62 %). Editing one threshold by hand reads Custom.
Runoff EC rise alert empty Alert when a plant's latest runoff EC is at least this much above its input EC (salts building in the medium).
Runoff pH swing alert empty Alert when a plant's latest runoff pH differs from its input by at least this much, either way.
Runoff alert look-back 14 days Only a paired entry newer than this can raise the runoff alerts.
