• 02Cannot reach the dashboard
  Address checks, hotspot vs LAN, .local resolution, the two-minute restart window, and SSH checks.
• 03Hub offline or not reporting
  What the room does while the hub is dark, reading the link chips, Wi-Fi and fallback-hotspot causes, and when a takeover is what you are seeing.
• 04Probe dark or faulted
  Probe not reporting vs channel fault vs out of service; what steering does meanwhile; power, Wi-Fi, cable and calibration checks; judging a probe by its watering response.
• 05Plugs and appliances — not reporting, mismatch, ineffective
  Sonoff plugs on the home LAN, the appliance driver, relay mismatch and ineffective alerts, min-off confusion, and the AC / mister that have no actuator.
• 06Readings held or stale
  Why a value is HELD, the horizons involved, sensor fault and stuck alerts, DHT disagreement, and rejected readings.
• 07Lamp and photoperiod surprises
  Lamp on in the dark period, lamp off in the window, catch-up turning it on, hub clock invalid, the 4×8 the hub cannot see, and lamp plugs holding state.
• 08Zigbee radio down or pairing fails
  RADIO DOWN, MQTT OFFLINE, crash-looping coordinator, the wrong stick firmware (Thread vs Zigbee), permit-join not taking, and why not to wipe the pairing database.
• 09Tuya device will not connect
  Err 901 / 914 with an open port means another controller owns the socket; what not to do; key, version and IP checks.
• 10Camera shows no frame
  Test source first; USB passthrough and the wrong video node; ffmpeg missing; credentials; motionEye ports; lights-on only.
• 11Updates and firmware jobs fail
  Check refused (no Ethernet), toolchain refusals (pin, disk, running job, helper missing, secrets), canary failed or unconfirmed, a seat stuck in the queue, and rolling back.
• 12Brain overloaded — slow dashboard, hub rebooting
  Too many open dashboards can saturate the brain and starve the hub link; how to see it in the logs, and what to do.
• 13Known limitations and honest out-of-service
  Things the kit tells you it cannot do on this release, and why they are shown rather than hidden.
